"Disappointments: Sixus1 made a werewolf I like the look of, unfortunately I use David, not M3, so I can't use him. :-( " I need a chart/list on what figures can use which morphs for each from DAZ....anyone have one ???? --Rebekah--

Victoria 3, Stephanie Petite 3, Aiko 3, She Freak, David 3 and the Mill Boys (Young Teens) can share morphs (provided that the CR2 are edited to add the necessary morph channels). Michael 3 and the Freak are grouped in a different way and can share morphs only between each other. I hope this is the information you needed. Stefano

there is a thread at PoserForums ->Interact -> Lycan-M and the Freak which users have been applying the morphs to diffrent figures.... that may be somewhat helpful... if you haven't seen it already :)

Oh yeah, throw my own forum in my face why dontcha ????? To be honest, I think that I stopped reading it. But I do remember someone having problems with getting David to work with the Lycan morphs. Off to go reread that thread from beginning to end now. :) --Rebekah-- P.S. Thanks for the the info Stefano, that is exactly what I needed to know. Any idea on textures between figures ???
Staby posted Tue, 04 January 2005 at 10:25 AM
Textures should be compatible, but not 100%. V3 and M3 templates have some differences especially in the breast and hip region. If I remember well if you use a V3 male texture on M3 you will have two belly button: one painted on the texture and the one in the mesh since the mapping was shifted a little there. But I need to check that.

The belly button is the most noticable texture change and the chest/breast areas are slightyl off. There are a few tiny slides here and there such as the mouth and eyes but you normally won't notce those at all unless you are doing severe closeups I think.

Are there any specific tutorials around for editing the CR2's to accept the morphs channels? I get really nervous doing that since Poser will sit there and pretend to load before blowing up if you don't get the CR2 language right. I do know the first step--MAKE A COPY OF THE CR2 FIRST before changing anything!

"editing the CR2's to accept the morphs channels?" I am not sure exactly what you mean, I work better with examples :) --Rebekah--

I'm trying to figure out what Staby meant, too. I would love to be able to swap morphs between the M3 characters but I was hoping to find a faster and/or easier way than Morph Manager. That program and I just don't always get along very well (probably because I can only do Poser as a hobby and I want to spent what time I have actually making a picture).

Ahhhh...I see. :) What, you want to actually spend time making a picture and not just forever arranging and wrangling your runtime ??? Well, I don't know of any tuts and have relatively little experience with DAZ figures since, as you can imagine. Good luck in your search and with finding the time to make a picture. --Rebekah--
