Merged the two halves of the image. Added some trees. changed the mat on the mid terrain behind the waterfall. The 2nd front tree is naff and needs some work, and I think my sort of swampy flood plain bit of the far bank needs to be extended further back. Apart from that how is it looking now? Predictably its now called "climb every mountain", like the old song. I am thinking of having some people about to walk up the path, probably a child with its parents, which is why it isn't a very big mountain :-)

I love the waterfall and yes that tree does look needy. That foreground tree is looking quite nice, I like it. Im not too keen on that mid terrain material tho, looks a little too presetish to me. Maybe it needs more bump/brush/grass/something. The idea of children playing along as they climb the path followed by their parents is enticing to me. Great work Chohole, keep us abreast of the progress please.

That terrain work is down right gorgeous. The waterfall is very realistic. This had to take a lot of time. My only two nitpicks would be the froth along the far bank of the middle layered water plane. It looks a bit to frothy to me. Maybe less white to calm it down a tad? Also the middle tree is almost dead center of the picture. To me it takes away from the flow of the scene. This image rocks!

Awesome stuff! how do you manage to get the steep slopes on the terrain to look so good? I never really get that subtle detail in it that makes it look convincing when I try that.

Basically Rayraz I have got several terrains all layered, although I must admit I was quite pleased with the base terrains and the pathway, getting a believable slope on them was quite painstaking, but it worked out well.
