Southern California's winter means rain, and boy have we been getting it. It's been pretty clear today, but I have been having some power and (mostly) Cable intenet outages, so take that in mind if you don't see me haunting the forum. It's clear and quiet right now, but THIS weekend, our weatherman's are telling us all to start building Ark's, `cause a huge rain is coming. Mostly Fri, Sat, and Sunday, with Saturday being the worst. We have been getting a LOT of lighting this year. Just fyi. AgentSmith

It's crazy weather. Indiana is under a flood watch. Our rivers are going up an inch an hour. Most have burst already. We had a snowstorm with thunder a week or so ago. I heard there are three storms heading for the mid-west. (The one CA is under right now is one of them) Anyone seen Day After Tomorrow? I miss England. Damp most of the time, but at least you knew where you stood.

And, yesterday I felt aftershocks of an earthquake that was about a 45min drive from me. Yeah...I have felt safer.

A lot of lightning? Still playing with that one camera? I bet you could make some cool pics using filters and long term exposures.

Yeah,, I talked to my parents back in Illinois this weekend, they said they just got around 6" of snow. My Mom was taking hot water outside to help open the car doors which had frozen shut... (so, I can't really complain) AS

Our rain is supposed to end by Wednesday, and our temps will start hovering around 65 degrees Faren. So, good news. AS

OMG.. ..if that was a 3D render, it would be "cool", but "not believeable"... (Yeah, we have a few deaths from land/mud slides that I have read about in online news.) Weather here is now officially starting to clear up. It's not unusual at all to have rain here in the winter months, we just don't usually get this much for this many days in a row. AS
