Finally got the money to get Bryce 5. But I do not know if I should get the boxed version or the 3D starter pack. I currently have Bryce 4, I am considering getting a new computer and want to know if I will have to purchase another copy or if I can burn to cd and transfer to new computer. Any help will be appreciated.

I was in your exact situation a few months ago and I just ordered the boxed DAZ Bryce5 version from Amazon.

WAIT for 5.5, "sometime this year"!!!!!!
If you can't wait go with the E-delivery version from DAZ, it can be burned to cd just fine. I D/L'd it from two different computers (technical difficulty {crappy cd}) and copied it to mine via cd.
assuming you have a broadband connection.

Xenic101, DAZ already has 5.5 up? Isn't there suppose to be a 6.0 version? I'm confused now...help. I had Corel B5 already and bought the DAZ starter bundle upgrade which comes with a $30 coupon for the new version of Bryce and it must be used within 30 days of its release. Do you think I'm too late? ouch.

No. v5.5 is not out yet, it is still in beta. You'll know when v5.5 is released. (to the tune of 163 threads here in the forum.) Since you have Bryce 5 and the bundle with the voucher for v5.5, just sit back and wait.
