Hi everybody, I haven't been around for awhile and wanted to drop a line. I have been playing around with Infini-D 4.5 and have built my first posable character. He's a robot type that I call Maximillian. I only have one question, Is it possible to use this guy in Poser? If so how? The file type is *.ID4 and I may be able to export as an OBJ, but if I do that, won't I lose the posability? (Is that a real word?) If ANYONE has any suggestions, PLEASE send them along. I would love to share this guy with anyone who would like to have him. He would be a big help around the poser house if he turns out to be compatible. PS: I still do not have a texture for him, I'm still working on that. Thanks in advance Wrecker25 (Mike)

For him (it?) to be posable in Poser you have to have an obj file with each piece individually defined. Then you need a phi file that defines the hierarchy of each of the pieces. Then you can use the "Convert Hier File" option in Poser to create the cr2 and rsr files needed to make it a posable figure. I don't know of any other way. If you've never done that before you might find a kind soul who is keen on robots to do the work for you if you can send them the obj file. Personally robots don't do anything for me. Conversely, I don't suppose I do much for them. Good luck.
