I recently misinterpreted a Forum question, and launched into a lecture about natural colorization. As I've recieved some questions about this, I'll add some detail. Please remember that fixes in Photoshop are no substitute for correctly lighting the original shoot. Even so, some of this may be useful when you need to adjust color.

The previous desaturatization step may not be necessary in every case. Or, since here the green is the complement of red, pasting a little green into the red would do the same thing. Next, want to pick up some of the reflected green light in the cloth highlights.

Here, I've left a bit too much of the green hue. But it illustrates the technique.

Next, I want to reflect the red color into the shadow area of the apple.

Since the apple is a "shiny" surface with a spectral highlight. Some of the pure red will be reflected.

With this as the final result. [Again, here I have exaggerated the color in order to show the technique. In practice, only a very little change should be used.] I hope this helps?
