Hi all, i tried to open the "HER".obj.on a MAC-Quicksilver in P5. Every Addons work propably -even the Hair, but only alone! I can Open the HER.obj in C4d and Lightwave. In the Poser-Menue the HER obj. does not appear. What is wrong? Thanks!

Did you download and install all the files? You'll need at least "HER base geometry" and "HER Propack Poser files". You probably want to get the texture files and clothes too but this is not necessary to open the figure in Poser.

MarianneR is correct. You must absolutely have downloaded and installed the following files: H.E.R. Base Geometry H.E.R. ProPack Poser Files H.E.R. Base Textures Be sure to Unzip to your Poser Directory...... For example-- C:Program Folders:CuriousLabs:Poser5 If you are using Winzip make sure that 'use folder names' is ticked..if using StuffIt am not sure what the equivelent is. Hope that helps. --Rebekah--

Rebekah: You can't do that with StuffIt: It will overwrite your folders :(. It it necessary to move the files by hand or you can use "ditto". It is a Unix utility that kaveman wrote a wrapper for, so you can use drag'n'drop. It will not overwrite folders, but it will overwrite files with the same names. Bertolt: Search in the Macintosh forum if you are interested in using "ditto".

Will WinRAR work?

MarianneR posted Wed, 12 January 2005 at 11:40 AM

PapaBlueMarlin: Is there a version of WinRAR for the Mac? I only know of UnRarX to unpack rar-files.

The files are all packed accordingly, so if you should have to drag and drop, then just match them up. That was the only thing that I could think of that would cause the files not to show in the library window. --Rebekah--

MarianneR: http://www.rarlab.com/index.htm RAR is available for PocketPC, Linux, Mac OS X, DOS, OS/2, and FreeBSD. The Mac version is command-line only.
