Subject: Robby - Can He Be Fixed?

I'm working on making Robby look more exactly like in the movie Forbidden Planet.

In the image, circled in white, you'll see some black streaks when rendered.

How can this be fixed and still retain this as a character figure?

Arduino created the character, and did a nice job, but fixing this flaw would make Robby perfect......

Any help appreciated.......Thanks

If you have UVMapper, load the .obj file and then press the Insert key to check for degenerate facets. UVMapper should find ~120. Say yes when it asks to perform repairs, then resave the model.

Thanks, I have UVMapper.......I'll try it but I always thought you lost your texture mapping......... Krel

Here's a comparison of the two Poser Robbies that I have. I prefer the one made from Tobor's Robbie!
