Here's a rough render of my current project. I'm working on getting a certain "balance" to the overall look. I highlighted a couple areas that I'm not quite sure about. All suggestions are welcome. I'd be interested in your suggestions for lighting as well. Should I go with a global illumination type of thing or something more dramatic like candlelight? (The current lighting is just for faster test renders ;) ) Feel free to tear the whole thing apart if you want. Thanks for your input.

i dont like the color, too dark. look in my gallery at "the sink" for an idea for the pot for the tree (http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=806079&Start=1&Artist=scoleman123&ByArtist=Yes) other than that it looks good

Don't know if this helps, but this is what the material looks like with the global illumination lighting.

I'm sorry, I don't liek the mat either. My first thought was that it was scummy grime. You're going for a high end marble look? but it doesn't seem to work too good. Model is good though, maybe try a lighter marble?

I'd lower the bump on the texture, would look nice as tiles with some accent strips to it. I have a problem with both the wall behind the john and the john having the same texture. Need something to break it up a bit. I think the texture can work if it looks a little bit smoother and maybe a bit smaller, spots seem a bit big. :-D I like it overall, just a few tweaks I think will bring this out nicely.

Thanks for the tips. I've worked on the materials (bump, color, as well as diversifying the objects' materials, etc.) but I can't adjust the "size" or "personality" of the texture pattern without the DTE closing out on me every time. >:( I hate that damn thing, LOL. It's the #2 reason I rarely finish anything in Bryce. Maybe I'll resort to making textures in 2D. Thanks again.
