Does anyone know of a plugin / addon that allows one to either create an Animation:Master file from Poser or import a Poser file from Animation:Master. I tried converting a poser file to autodesk format and importing it to A:M but it came out looking like a jumble of splines. any help appreciated Thanks veg

i'm several upgrades behind (last version was a:m 2000), but unless hash has expanded its import capabilities, a:m won't import polygonal meshes. afaik, it's strictly a spline modeler.

Have you tried asking this question over at the Animation:Master forum? You are talking about a particular feature for that program, not really for Poser, so it seems like you may have more luck finding folks that know what file format it imports and exports.

Side note: I loved the potential behind A:M but I keep running into bugs. I had heard it was better, but the last version I tried still crashed with pretty easy to reproduce errors. Are you happy with the performance? Is it stable for you?

It does crash often unfortunately. I have developed the habit of saving constantly (which I guess isn't a bad idea anyway). Animating is very intuitive with A:M. The only problem I have is it seems very propietary. I would like to use it in conjunction with Max and poser easier. But from what I've seen importing and exporting are not easy at all.
