Is it possible to convert them to figures instead of objects?

To make the object a figure ensure that it is first grouped into sections (body parts) as required. Next write a hierarchy file. This is not as complicated as it looks just read the manual Chapter 14 whilst humming that old favorite "The leg bone's connected to the thigh bone.... etc" You can also edit the hierarchies within Poser (Window/Hierarchy Editor). This is obviously an involved subject and this is only an outline reply but I hope it points you in the right direction.
