PoserPyhton, a new P3dO plugin is born. PoserPyhton core is based on work by TromNek who found the way to open Poser files directly from Windows. P3dO PoserPyhton plugin ease the setup process (partly manual), wraps TromNek's scripts and filters files so that Poser only gets what it can handle (Poser library files). Here's what you can do with PoserPyhton:
There are some limits : PoserPyhton is not a Windows shell opener, i.e it can't open Poser if Poser is not running.
Also there is a security issue with the way files are opened in Poser. For this reason we shipped 2 versions of the plugin:
To use PoserPyhton you need 3 things:
Please don't forget this plugin is above all based on work by TromNek. Damn' I've been looking for this for a long time, thanks Ken. I'm now working on a more advanced
version with less manual setup, and support for links to Poser library files. TromNek is working on a more advanced version of the receiver script (you'll learn about the receiver script from help file ;).
So enjoy, that free and most usefull plugin for P3dO Poser file manager and 3D viewer.

Just tried that - it's nifty. :) Makes finding and using files for figures and props a much faster prospect. Thanks!
