I looked at a demo version of Poser 1, many years ahgo, and could sort of see how it might wrok as a version of those articulated wooden figures. Then, in the summer of 2003, I installed a freebie version of Poser 3 from the cover-CD on a British magazine. Then I broke my leg. By December I had bought Poser 5.

I'm sure I've seen some money in the Freestuff. Is that where yours slipped away to? :)

I got started when I picked up RayDream4 from Computer City many years ago. -ScottA

"I'm sure I've seen some money in the Freestuff. Is that where yours slipped away to? :) " A lot of my money has slipped away to Poser and DAZ but I wouldn't trade it for anything. My life in 3D has been a heckuva ride, and continues to get better...

I started with Sculpt 3D from Byte-by-Byte and TurboSilver (which later became Imagine) from Impulse for the Amiga around 1986. Then moved onto an Amiga Video Toaster which contained Lightwave. I originally used them to create surrealistic and fantasy environments to composite with photos.
