So ... is that how you want it, huh? Huh??!!! Well come on then!!! BRING IT ON!!!! hehehe I really like the first one. I especially love the hands and the textures. The second one, I like the effect, but I think I'd like to see the eyes a bit sharper...sort of a selective softening. But that's one of my druthers; I know others who like the all over softness. They all seem a little underexposed or the shadows are clipped pretty hard. Of course, could be what you were going for. They have a nice, natural feel. And I love the way you've captured some of the energy of the subjects. Would really like to see more of your work from this class. That said, I really like your compositions. In my book, it's kind of hard to make a bad photo of pretty women-folk. :)

These are really wonderful Jinx! Critique-wise I would pretty much agree with everything Donald said..... :~) Giving the D-Man a run for his money, eh? :~))
I am, therefore I create.......

They could be a little under exposed. I donno. My favorite is the first one. I got an A on it. My gallery is full of pictures I had taken in that class... all my civil War Pictures are taken and same with "Secret Places" I think I have more too...but I have to find the CD.

Jinx - I can never be sure with the exposure, 'cause I don't know the look you were going for. Blowing the highlights and stopping up the shadows is a valid technique and look. The only reason I said they looked underexposed was because of the lack of detail in the shadows (like the sweater on the 3rd image and the hair in the 1st). Civil war? (goes to take a peek) Holy crap ... I never saw those. Must have been from the 3 weeks I had my head under cover while processing images. :/ Wonder what else I've missed?
