Way too bright, IMO. All the detail is bleached out and what's left has a nasty yellow cast. Back off on the intensity and add more lights to fill in the areas which are too dark.

I'm going to try to touch it up with a paint proggy to see if that helps. The skin tone is too bright.

There are some poser artifacts - dislocations in the shoulders, abdomen, etc. The bending doesn't look right, although it might just be my monitor.

It was sooo hard to try to bend her in the right position. I know looks a tad bit deformed. I might have to scrap this and start fresh. This took hours to make. Not your monitor just me trying to get her in the right position on the bike. :=)

Can you please give me a link to that bike? It's very nice. Thanks

looks to me like you tried to pose her in the position you feel your in while on a bike instead of the position you actually sit in. she needs to be further back in the saddle (she actually looks a little tall for that bike) and abdomin and chest should both bend forward probably in equal amounts. push the shoulders forward too.

"I'm going to try to touch it up with a paint proggy to see if that helps. The skin tone is too bright." ? What's wrong with getting it right in Poser? Seriously, learn the lights and you'll be amazed with the results. Save yourself a lot of faffing about with unnecessary postwork.

She is quite deformed...from the arms to the abdomen.... Do a normal sitting pose with IK off...then go from there....

I wasn't going to mention the pose since I'd already given the lights a slagging, but yeah, it is pretty horrible. Nobody's back bends like that, at least, not if they have a human spine. :) Switch on IK for the legs and arms, then move her ass further back on the seat. That should help somewhat. Then, lose some of (actually, most of) the curves in the back. Shoulders should be down and forward somewhat. Neck needs to bend forward, head bend up slightly, to counteract the neck bend. I agree with Tyger that the bike looks too small - try scaling it up a couple of percent.

Go to RuntimeDNA.com and download some of their free light sets. They're a good base to start with. Pay attention to how they are set up; you'll learn how to do it yourself.
What problems did you have with the pose? Did you have IK on?
It might help if you look at photos of people riding motorcycles, or even look at yourself in the mirror in as similar a pose as you can get. To my eye, her butt needs to be higher and further back. The shoulders should be more relaxed (lower). If her hands don't reach the handlebars in the new position, straighten her elbows and rotate her forward a bit.

I agree with you all. I'm cringing as I look at it. I'm remaking it in Poser. I got the bike from the Poser freestuff area. I'll have to hunt up some sitdown poses for Vicky too. I used the dials only to move the body. I never remember use the IK. I should though, might make life easier. I want to add background to this as well. Scraped and am starting it over. Since we're snowed in I'll have a lot of freetime on my hands. lol.

If her hands don't reach the handlebars in the new position, straighten her elbows and rotate her forward a bit. That's what I tried to do but the only way for it to reach the handlebars was for me to bend the stomach in. That's why it looks so deformed. The hands wouldn't reach at all in a sit position. Has anyone tried to sit characters down in a car or bike? I didnt see any car props or I would have tried that instead.

What's the concept? Is it meant to be a modern day Lady Godiva or something? Just curious, because it's pretty unusual to see a naked chick on a bike.... Or is she not naked and it's just the way the lights bleach the scene out? I agree with most of the techical stuff already mentioned, for what it's worth. It's really good to see people asking for input and taking it as it's intended, by the way. Please keep asking, it's a great way to learn! :-) bonni

Rotate her body forward. Either her entire body, or just her hips (which will rotate her entire body). I think the problem is that you are posing her perfectly upright. But she's not riding a tricycle. She's riding a motorcycle. She shouldn't be perfectly upright, she should be leaning over. And the way to do that naturally is to rotate her entire body forward. That will let you put her butt in a more natural position, as well her arms, stomach, etc.

Just to stay with the lighting for a moment: Your light(s) flatten the image because they are shooting from the same direction as the camera. Move them off to the side at 45 angles. If it's two lights overlapping that could be why they are blowing out. No paint program is going to help that if the levels are all flattened at the top. You would end up with big flat grey highlights. The pose issue is a whole other kettle. good luck

She's not naked lol. Although it rendered that way, cos of the lights. She does have cloths on her. I just wanted to try something different with V3 to see if she'd be able to ride a bike or sit in a car a animation scene I'm working on. I cant seem to get the knack of the lights just yet. I may have had a spotlight shined on her and that's why it looks so bright. Funny how diff it looks when it post's it to the web than on your system. On my laptop when working with the character it looks ten times darker. I tried to slide her back more, but, she ended up close cos when I did slide her back she still couldn't reach the handlebars unless I bent her stomach in. I'm sure the bike wasn't made for a female character but a male. I love input though, it helps me a great deal! I'm redoing it as I type this. :)
