Okay .. getting around to posting this. Had 2 things on my mind I've been meaning to post:
Is there a chance we can get a new genre added to the gallery. Would be nice to have "Fine Arts" genre in there.
I've been noticing this recently and don't know if it's always done this or if it's new. At times, I've started at the newest photo gallery images and just gone back until I reach the last image I've posted. Trying not to miss anything. Anyway, what I've noticed is that there are images that appear the 2nd or 3rd time I've gone back that weren't there before. My viewings are hours (and sometimes a day or more) between each time. The first couple of times I thought I just hadn't noticed the image, but there have been a couple that I know for sure weren't there the 1st time I came through. I'd always wondered why there were so many in Misha's weekly posting that I didn't see but always chalked it up to being busy.
Anyone else noticing this or have I finally gone over the edge?

Hmmm... Re Vanishing Images - I don't know what to tell you, Donald, except that I don't think it's possible you're missing any images if you're going from page one thru the next pages to the image that was first in line when you last checked... If you'd go in reverse, you'd be bound to miss some pics, 'cos new images added while you're watching say page 3 make the whole 'list' move, so when you go to page 2 some uploads you haven't seen before go to page 3 which you just finished viewing... This multiplied by the number of pages you're about to see till you get to page one can make you miss quite a few uploads. If what I just wrote doesn't make sense, it's 'cos it's 2 in the morning over here and I should probably go to bed now. Hope you've not gone over the edge yet :)) Niu

Niutek's explanation makes the most sense, as it has happened to me..... the images move along, and as you're working backwards, and reloading you will miss images if a few people have posted new ones.

Poor Donald has lost all sense of reason....I had feared this would happen as He Matured into a sedate Old Gentleman.

But in that case, wouldn't that go in the opposite direction. I should see thumbnails twice and not miss any if that is what is happening. Don't know if I can explain this in a post.
Imagine this.. I'm on the second page looking at images so I am seeing images 19-36 (1-18 are on the 1st page). While I'm doing that, 4 more images are uploaded. I now move to the next page. Now, before those images were uploaded, I would be looking at images 37-54 . But because 4 images were added to the beginning this pushes those images down 4 on the list, so that what were images 37-54 are now located at 41-58. So, when I go to page 3 (which shows images 37-54), I should see 4 images that were the last 4 images on page 2 at the top of this page. Images 37-40 should be the images that were 33-36 before the 4 new ones were added to the top.
Does that make sense? Am I thinking of this right?
-=>Donald Re-read the thread and want to clarify what I meant originally. I start viewing the images at the newest images and work backwards to my last upload (so I'm viewing them newest to oldest). A few times there have been images that just appear in the middle (not at the new end) that weren't there the 1st time I looked.

Of course you're thinking of this right, Donald! As I said above - don't have any idea how it is possible to miss anything starting on page one, image one. This is very mysterious, I think we should press Tedzy further on this! He tends to appear in the middle and not to be there the first time you look! :D Niu ;D

Albert Einstein proposed in his 1905 special theory of relativity that nothing can exceed the speed of light in a vacuum -- about 186,000 miles a second. However some theoreticians immediately challenged that light speed limit, said Gauthier, a Duke associate professor of physics. I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but am not sure that you realize that what you just said is not what I meant.

That happened to me tonight too by the way. images were uploaded and when I return to gallery they go on second page.So I now make a note of the last one viewed, before clicking back to gallery.
