It's not that weird, actually it's fantastic. My only nit would be to lessen the bump on the rose stem. The stems are smooth.
Excellent Piece!

Fantastic!! I'd call it "Don't play with guns, it may backfire." Or "Gun and Rose" That lesser known rock duo before the group formed.

It looks really good, but! The grip should be rounded, not flat. And the bit around the cylilnder should be rounded, too. And there should be a bit below the barrel. This way it does look realistic, but a realistic ... model, not a gun. :-)

@ Erlic : Modeling was not meant to be precise, I could not squeeze good model, idea and rendering it in 2 hours of work, after working 10 hours yesterday at my real job, lol, was too tired for that, it was more a message I was going after for :D
Anyways, here is referece model, even I was not modeling as it is on the picture itself, it wold proly take 5,6 hours to do perfect looking model...

2 hours? Jeez!!
Kemal posted Tue, 25 January 2005 at 2:47 AM
Yep, what helps a lot is that I have lots of premade 3D Bryce "backgrounds" or floors for displaying my models, like this one for example, and rose was already textured before, for other project I did...that was last nite, i did do some extra postwork today too, so it is actually more then 2 hours... :D
