I just got my vue4 pro yesterday and am interested in trying those special buffer options for compositing in After Effects. The problem is that the Vue manual doesn't describe the procedure, and the After Effects manual only says that it imports .rla information, and pretty much stops there. I'd like to composite a Lightwave image with a Vue image, and then play with animations once I have a clue about what I'm doing. Does anyone know of any good tutes to explain exactly how this works? Thanks...

Little info: rla (old) or rpf (new) are same formats. ;-)French tutorial:

If you do not know french, may be the capture will help you anyway.
Or try a translator like http://dictionary.reference.com/translate/text.html
Good Luck
