This isn't the only method but it's worked for me. It does allow for some tight fitting clothing. I hope this isn't too long, I want it to be complete and geared toward the novices. Please feel free to pop in with any questions and I'll try to answer them. mike

Terrific. Thankyou very much, Trav. I've been spending a lotta time learning Amapi, which I like, but this looks cleaner. Among other things Amapi won't let you hide anything smaller than an "object", so you have to...etc, etc. This is just what I was looking for.

Page 12 Here is the next part, finishing and "tightening" the torso shape. Tomorrow I'll show building how I use CP4's Shader Domains plus som mesh adjustment to mimic the chest and the lCollar groups. As always, if you have any questions or comments please post them. mike

With appoligies for the delay, here is the next section of this tutorial. I haven't seen much responce so I'm wondering if I'm just wasting bandwith with this. Please let me know what you think, and as always, please speak up with any questions. mike Page 23

Wow. You're the man Trav. Thanks for taking the time to do such a detailed play-by-play on this, I've been curious about Carrara's "basic modeling" features and you're pointing them out nicely. They appear to be more than adequate. Can't wait to see the outcome. :)

Trav. Have been saving all the images ready to make a PDF when you are completed. Have not really studied yet--just know it will be good --- no guessing required!

A note to those that have been following this thread. While I intend to finish posting the tutorial to this thread, so those that are following it won't miss it. I also intend to "clean it up" and create a PDF file of it. When that's done I leave a message telling everyone where it can be down loaded. mike Page 33
