Just got it in the mail today, and WOW, what a great DVD of animated music! AND they give you the run through on storyboards, and contruction of the animation models as well as the music itself....what an inspiration to learn Bryce's animation system.....not to mention composing your own music to go with it! For those not familiar with Animusic visit the link, they have downloadable clips of the music animations...great stuff.Bryce Forum Coordinator....

I LOVED 'Harmonic Voltage', so much to see and the music is great, I also liked 'Pipe Dream' and 'Acoustic Curves', these animations are so involved, just planning out what does what and goes where must've taken months to work out. And the models have sooooo many moving parts....... yes I'd recommend this to you, if animation is something you're interested in, it's only $24.95 including Priority shipping, well worth the price, plus there's other stuff on the DVD as well.

Thanks Zhann...I had watched these for some time now but never in their entirety. I have had some experience in the music field particularly in the early CG portion of it before todays technology, working with several big time artists (Luther Vandross and company not to mention others). Well, unfortunately it was cut short, but always a source of pride to me. I will order these. Thank you.

A coworker of mine had this and I enjoyed watching it. Forgot all about it 'til now. Great stuff! I can't imagine the complexities of timing animation to music...

Maps are painted with Corel Painter, Deep Paint 3D, and Photoshop. Everything is run through After Effects. All this happens entirely on Windows machines (both NT and 2000 Pro). I have a friend that has this, brought it up here a month or two ago. It's pretty good; from a musical standpoint, the devices are always 'playing' correctly..;)

I've seen this before, it's pretty cool. (I even have that ATI demo on the HD.) Now if only they could make a virtual instrument and use the midi to drive the background of a music video. Or maybe the visuals for a concert... (I wonder if Primus would go for something like that?)

land sakes, there's more virtual instruments out there than you can shake a stick at..;) There's magazines analogous to 3d World, Digit etc, that hand them out on a monthly basis. Me bro's got Native Instruments' B4 (Hammond organ)..believe me, it's a whole 'nother world..;)
