Thank you, guys, I'm realy trying to nail down this damn sub-d modeling, there are still issues I have about it, I cannot find a good tutorials for beveled knife/sword blades, anybody knows a good one ??? :D

Nice model, and the render is great! Bud K sells an actual one of these, fully functional. I make blades with lofting in Rhino, I don't know how you made this one... Looks good up until the wavey part.

Oh, modeled in Silo (sub-d), quite a challenge actually to do lofting without nurbs, but i'll get to it one day :D

Lofting? Sorry, when it comes to Nurbs (something about rational splines?), I lose all 3D modelling knowledge.

Looks like this could do some nice slicing and dicing. 8)

Cool hand to hand fighting capabilities built into the handle. That will make for good "War of the Roses" fight scenes. Except you would get tired of tugging to get the embedded spikes out of somebody's face.It will come in handy for dicing your free tomato. Thanks!!

The handle and texturing are amazing. IMO the blade-edge doesn't look scarily sharp......
