Excellent. Will you be able to adjust the position of the hole on the platform to line up with the scope once you've modeled it? As it is now, it's a bit further back than it is in your reference pic.

Looks great. You should post over in the Rhino forum also. I think the botany lab wants their microscope back.

Rhino is only used as a file converter. Modelled in Solid Edge, out from that in igs format, put into Rhino, meshed and joined, out in 3ds.

Nice work... Yeah, the Rhino people might have some good ideas for ya, those guys are very cool, too!
