Well, this gives a big improvement. The cherry blossom is really nice with the color added. Beautiful picture. :)

Thanks Rynn, I took the original white blossom texture and selected all the flowers and then added a radial flood fill to give a spread of colour. I am pleased at how it came out then added to the trees. Have fun Neil

Wow! Oh yes! :) Okay, I posted to the other thread only a few minutes ago. You must work very fast! grin The tree looks much more realistic! Very good improvement! Mount Fuji definitely looks more like a mountain now, and it seems very appropriate to be there. The bridge looks wonderful. I love the railing on it. Makes it seem more like a bridge. And I still love the sand. :)

Great job there Neil. This is what I would have liked to have seen with the first picture, and now Mt Fuji looks really good.

Thanks Varian. I should have spent the time on the mountain in the first place. This one I used anim8or to digitise a profile of the mountain from a picture and then lathed a 3d model. I agree the bridge looks better with a rail. Glad you like the sand. I'll tell how I created it. First I took a photo out of my car window of a gravel road. When I tried that it was too dark so I mixed in the milk texture and there you have it. I am glad you liked the improvement. Have fun Neil

Thanks Mike. Yep I should have done that the first time. Must be more criticle the first time round. :) Have fun Neil

Aha! So gravel + milk = wet sand! I learn something new every day. grin Thanks for the tip for that! :)
