I deleted the double posting... It wouldn't let me add more than one picture in one post, so I had to post them seperately.

RnRWoman, what texture set is that? It's great! My suggestion is that you look for a prop hair, but if you want to try dynamic hair, I suggest you try the following steps... 1. Get the PhilC's skullcap for M3. 2. Rather than subdividing the hair into separate groups, have the whole hair grown in one group. 3. Grow the hair roughly to shoulder length and pull back. 4. Calculate dynamics and see how the hair lays, you may then need to pull the hair down. I can't guarentee this will work as dyanmic hair is really tempermental. There is some dynamic hair already prepared out there for M3, that all you might have to do is pull back on the bangs and it may give you the effect you want.

softriver has a tutorial on dynamic hair, there's a link to it in either this or the Poser Technical forum. You can use dynamic hair in two ways: calculated dynamics - which is somewhat unpredictable and rather crash-prone, or styled hair (using the style tools). There's also a tut on the Curious Labs site. Good luck with the project, and that is an awesome texture/morph!
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

Thank you both for your replies! :) I tried to fiddle around with the dynamics and it's a bit confusing to do. How do I "calculate" once I get it all set? Thanks for the info about the link, I will have to check it out! And thank you both for your comments on my project! The texture is just an altered version of DAZ's David texture. Tho I am using a different texture by Morris now, using the same lips. Will post a preview when I can. Any help is appreciated! Have a good day! God Bless! ~RnRWoman

Well from my unadequate experiences with dynamic hair... 1) It looks best when it's black, and you use depth map shadows. That way you can use fewer strands, and still not see his scalp. 2) You can grow the hair as one group, and then shorten the hair to his sides (using the adjust hair styling dial). 3) Once you start styling, you can't do anything which causes the hair to regrow (since that will reset the style). 4) For a look as per your 1st or 2nd image, set the length, pull it backwards and then down so it's roughly in shape in growing mode. Then style it - start at the roots and work out to the tips. If the hair renders "jaggedy", try increasing vertices (from 20 to maybe 50). 5) I've only once been able to get a reasonable result using the "calculate" method. In general, it ends up not being smooth enough. 6) Expect to spend a lot of time on it and get frustrated. In the end it will be difficult to get it looking as realistic as a standard hair prop. The biggest problem will be getting his "peak" right (ie. the hair to forehead shape).
