I seldom visit the most viewed gallery but today I did. Just about every image in the fractal most viewed gallery was posted on October 29, 30 and 31 of 2003. Obviously there was a problem with the system on those days. What do you think would be the right thing to do if you posted an image on one those days? I think the answer is obvious: Delete it and repost it. As it is now it gives a distorted view of what people are interested in. I mean, for all of Renderosity most people are interested in looking at naked ladies. Wouldn't it be nice to know what most people find interesting in the fractal gallery?

Please, let's not turn this into another discussion about the hot 20, comments and popularity. That dead horse has been dragged far enough. Like I said, I don't visit that gallery enough to care. I am just curious about why everyone has let such an obvious error go. Maybe no one else cares either. Fair enough.

I always assumed that R'osity admin would fix the counts I guess.. I've pruned out my gallery a few times since then.. I was up to like 50 pages at one point lol.

Do the hits that come from the most viewed page count as extra views?
