Does any one know where one can find free/purchase additional content for Vue 4 Pro? I have been making scenes with the supplied content and some figures I made in Poser but am looking to expand my library. Any suggestions besides Renderosity's free stuff or market place???

• e-on software is working on their own online store for 3D content for Vue (called Cornucopia 3D... no word yet on when it will be ready). - Some german editor made a full CD of 3D objects for Vue. I believe it might be Dosch Design. - You can purchase libraries of 3D trees from XFrog (by Greenworks) in Vue .vob formats. The trees are not dynamically rendered like Vue Solidgrowth trees but they are great for close ups. - You can also check the Backroom page in this forum for links to other Vue related websites, some of them with free content.

From searching the archives of the forum, I recovered a link to that CD of Vue objects from Dosch Design .... here is the link.... but it looks like this CD is no longer available on their website :( Maybe you can contact them and ask them about it ?

Straight on his site all his Objects appear to be 3ds...he has listed below each package what softwares his models support :). Lordy, does he have some great stuff...kinda pricey compared to Taschen..then again those models on the whole look much more detailed :)

Maybe a bit pricey, but it is still nothing compared to Turbo Squid or Zygote :)

I meant to mention this link when I talked about expensive professional meshes.... now I foind it again in my bookmarks. Just for the price tag of some models, it is well worth a look :)

I have some models on my site, made with Rhino if folk wish to use them :) A few aren't so good being early work like the .obj versions of the Assault Mech, the Nydarr Keep Building and the Hydra (huge file sizes not so well made)

Tutorials on Poser imports to Vue/Bryce, Postwork, Vue rendering/lighting, etc etc!

I don't know if you use poser or not, but something I've been doing is converting some of my poser props to vue ones. Basically saving a poser scene with one prop in it, import it into vue. Tweak the textures, and then save it into the vue object library. It's awesome. Some of the scenes out there for poser come with so many props it unreal. My library for vue is expanding quickly with ready to use props. :) If you don't have poser, look for some .obj files. There's literaly millions of them out there for free. Import them and tweak the textures, etc. Then save those to your library. Just a suggestion. Dragontales :)
