Ok, I made a sundress and flipflops for Madison-she is jealous of what I've made for Laura and Steph. I constrained the top parts of the strap, so that they SHOULD rest on her shoulders and the rest of the dress flow. However, the constrained group seems to elevate the straps, thus looking like an invisible hook is taking the dress off. Would I be best at leaving the dress un-constrained? -The Starkdog

Can you show the wireframe, and what collision offset are you using?

Hi PhilC, I think I might have found the problem. It seems that putting the scene in wireframe makes grouping much easier. I think that since I missed a few polys, it caused the shoulders to go funky. Here is a shot from the cloth room. As I am typing this, I am also re-running the clothing simulation to see if it is fixed. I'll post results. -The Starkdog. P.S. I modeled everything in Shade 7.2. The dress only took about an hour or so to model.

Okay, It seems to be working better, but there still seems to be bunching on the back of the shoulders. Just out of curiousity, what would be the most logical region to constrain- just the top of the shoulder strap where it crosses the top of Madison's shoulders, or most of the strap like I have done? Anyways, here's 2 more semi-corrected pictures. -The Starkdog

I think on this one I would try it with nothing constrained. Then only add the sections you have if I found that the cloth was slipping off the shoulders.

If yr really worried 'bout slippage, ya migt get away w/ a single constrained vert on either shoulder...seems I've seen that done somewhere (by svdl, mebbe?) Also, as Phil mentioned, check yr Collision Offset & Collision depth settings under Collide Against. I always drop mine to .25 & seem to get good results
