Attached Link: Tip 1: www.3dlinks.com Tutorials: Photoshop
Tip 2: www.google.com (that's how I found this) A nice start. But there will be lots more if you search "PS tutorials textures 3D" Good luck!bonestructure posted Wed, 09 February 2005 at 10:31 AM
I make ALL my textures for MAX in Photoshop. So do most people. But it would be good to also learn UV unwrapping and mapping. MAX has a good unwrap and map function, asd you can get a plug in callelled Texporter for it as well, which is what I prefer to use. You need to be able to mnake an accurate UVmap to really create good textures in Photoshop.

ZBrush 2 by Pixologic is also good for modeling, texturing and painting.

Deep Paint also includes a photoshop plugin to allow you to paint a 3D model and then import/export to PS for saving or editing
