Well, I bought the download version. I guess I will soon see if this software is as easy to use as Terragen, or if it blows me away like Mojoworld did (I can make pictures with Mojoworld but the creation of planets was jsut a bit too much for me). Will I be wanting the extra content or are there models out there?

Hi Zerelli, I'm about to take the plunge too (Vue 4). I'm using 3.1 at the moment and finding it pretty easy to use apart from terrain creation and animation. The terrain creation only works in 2D whereas Vue 4 has a 3D interface. The animation in 3.1 kept crashing the software but the Vue 4 demo I got seems stable. As for free stuff, I would check out www.3dcafe.com. It has hundreds of models and textures for free. Cheers, Kevin
