just thought i'd introduce myself i'm new here (sort of - being ridicuously shy and indecisive i've been wavering for around three months before plucking up the courage to post a picture) i'm very much a beginner at photography, hopelessly unknowledgeable and not particularly good (not to mention the fact that my equipment and software is less up to date than my grandmother's) but i have fun and want to get better (all tips/criticism welcome) you don't have to bother to reply to this but i just wanted to say hi thanks Flopsy

hey, Flopsy & a big welcome to ya!!! oh...and don't worry if they tell ya I'm a little crazy, 'cause, like LP, I am too!!!! :) and shy...well, i'm shy but every day of my life that goes by, i'm getting over it! make yourself at home here, hang out with us...before long you'll be an insomniac too!!! LOL! As long as you're having fun with photography, that's the most important part!!!!! :)

thank you all for your replies and also for your kind coments on my pictures i'm slightly insane myself so am pleased to hear i'm not alone i won't be around much next week as i'm on holiday but after that i hope i'll be posting more thank you again flopsy
