Subject: OT- Sharky passed away yesterday

Seems like I am always sending out these messages and excuses, but, sigh, my dog, Shark, had a very bad weekend, and I spent every hour by his side, hoping for a miracle. Sharky lost his battle with stomach cancer yesterday. I promise to get caught up with the monthly challenge first thing in the morning. Dee=Marie

Sorry to hear that Dee. Not very good with subjects like this and usually opt for the silence aproach, that way I am safe. LP

It hits hard and brings on the grief....as I am sure Sharky was one of the Family....I am so sorry....but...Sharky will go to Doggie Heaven...My Mate, Ben....is the Door Man there :]

i am so sorry Dee, my sympathies :( glad you could be there for him hugz you prepared us, but was further alarmed... as we have a photographer here named sharky_ too

Upsetting I know Dee. No suffering now though. Brings back all the feelings when I had to do that with... Mine will welcome Sharky there too.

Thank you all for the wonderful well wishes, they mean more than you can ever imagine. Thanks also cyn for the reminder of the member sharky - I sure didn't want to get anyone unduly upset. Wasn't thinking when I posted the subject header - was just wanting to let everyone know why I hadn't posted the current challenges. Thanks again everyone once more for your patience and your kindness during this time of sorrow. Sincerely Dee-Marie

i always get tears when i hear someone's beloved pet has passed away....they are the most loyal friends we could ever have....i love this picture of sharky, he looks like he has a lot of love in his eyes...you're so lucky he was "your" friend...
