Subject: Help! The main area vanished!

I was working on a project then some how the main screen vanished! For two days I've been trying to find away to bring it back but I can't locate any option to do so and I can't find it anywhere on the screen!! I can't edit my sean at all.. but it shows up when I enter into materials How do I get it back?!

this has happened to me before i just opened a new file and the window came back.

I've tried that. but this is what I get every time. Closing and re-opening it, making a new file. all I get is blank!

If the UI dots came in 2 colors, we could play tic-tac-toe while waiting to render. :)
