How do I translate the position of the p4 hair to fit the vicky model? . . . I have looked every where in poser to fix it. . . Are the p4 hair props not going to work with vicky? Setting the hair's parent makes no difference as far as I could tell.

The scaling difference is not very large so this should not be your problem. Select the hair prop. Change the parent to none or universe (whichever applies) Use the X-Y-Z trans dials to move it. Rotate if necessary. scale as needed When it is positioned properly - re-parent to the head. A parented prop's location is controlled by the parent group ?

thanks got to try that. . . I will when i get back from my trip tuesday night. Is there a way to get around all the hair not working with vicky like it should or is it a matter of buying all new hair for vicky?

You can download the default hair that comes with Poser here http://morphs.bbay.com/html/hair.html It has been resized so that it fits both Michael and Vicki.. Just put it in its own hair directory.. As there is no read me I don't know who did these but it saves a lot of hair hassle. The hair is at the bottom of the page

You are missing something basic here. The hair props will work with any character with a head. They may not fit very well, to be sure, but they will work. If you are using a hair prop from the "Hair" Library and it has been placed on a figure and parented to that figure's head, then you have taken the prop out on the branch of a tree and done special adaptations to it. To use this prop on an entirely different figure, you must back track to the simple prop and go out a different branch to adapt it to the new figure. This has not been obvious before Vicki, because P3-P4-Casual-NYW-Eve are all the same head, so it has not been necessary. You would have to do this if you wished to fit the hair to the P3/P4 male or to Mike. The rescaling is a minor thing. If you are looking for simple "fire and forget" type steps, you will seriously restrict the possibilities in Poser open to you.
