Is this a feature of vue, can UV maps be imported? Many thanks Max

Not sure what you mean by 'imported'. You can use UV mapped objects in Vue 5 along with their bitmap textures if this is what you want to know.

It will :) ... I have done that once - mapped an object with UV mapper, texture it with Deep Paint and render it in Vue 4.

it imports most standard file formats, including .obj And I know form stuff I've just done it imports textures I make with UV mapper just fine :) Only oddity Vue has though is it does Alpha maps in reverse, WHITE is transparent, not black, weird! But there's a button for inverting each texture (colour, bump, transparent/alpha) in the material editor so it's no problem :)

Yes, you have to change your settings don't forget, the size of maps, so import your object, go to the material used, import map, then change size, x=1.000 and y=-1.000, have fun...Sharen
