I see a lot of threads here about different versions of Vue, but I hope you folks don't mind me starting another. I'm a disgrunted Bryce5 user; actually, I've gotten weary of the limitations of Bryce, it has stifled my creativity. A long time ago I tried Vue4 and I was very impressed, and the Vue5 pics I see in the gallery here are even more impressive. So, I am thinking of buying Vue5. Or Vue5 Pro (Infinite is a little too pricy for me). But I would like the Botanica and LightTune modules, which if I buy with Vue5 adds up to about $350. OR, I could just buy Vue5 Pro that has those modules and it would be $400. Anyone know if those modules, if bought seperately, are shipped or have to be downloaded off e-on's site? I hate dl-ing big files online. Any suggestions about choosing between Vue5 and Vue5 Pro would be appreciated, since I'm new to both versions. Thanks, and glad to soon be among the Vue community ;-) Doug

Why not buy Vue 4 downloadable version for $69 and upgrade to version 5 for $129 you can add Botanica $69 and LightTune $39 for a total amount of $310.00.

Being a VUEPro lover and soon to be Infiniti nut I won't offer any upgrade suggestions'-)...but as for the Modules...although they are DL items, when I was having a hard time a few weeks back getting one of them via that route someone at e-on did write that the next option would have been making it available to me on CD...so I would recommend contacting them to see if they could work something out for you? ==steve== Edited to add "Welcome aboard to VUE! You will not regret it!"

Ex-Brycian too I have Pro5, I don't know about the individual modules/usage therefore, but having them all in one is so, so sweet :)

I've bought the Lighttune module seperately and I needed to download it. Don't see the need of the others at all. you take a close look at what they do and if you do really need them....

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

also keep in mind that you dont need to buy all the modules right away, get them one by one, and when you got them all, save some $ and upgrade to v5I when you can afford it (a 199us$ upgrade from v5epro) makes a lesser bump in your wallet :)

Yea, the only modules I really want are Botanica and the Light Tune, have no use for Mover. I might just buy the straight Vue5 and worry about the modules later. But I gotta say, Infinite looks like a damn fine version.
