I am using Poser 5. For some reason, the Background Color will not "stick" -- I am stuck with the default gray background. I have tried changing the background color using both the Background Color button next to the main character window, and using the Materials room, but no matter how many times I change it, it immediately reverts back to the default gray. The odd thing is, if I open a saved scene which has a different-colored background, it keeps the background it was saved with. I am baffled. Is there some setting I have inadvertently toggled?

This is a known p5 problem, in the material room, delete all the nodes connected to the background and you will be able to change the background again. It works the same for pz3s load the pz3 then delete the nodes and that is it.

When you downloaded the 4.1 patch, there was a README file. All you have to do is read it. And make a couple of clicks in the right places... takes just a second to fix.
