Guppo's cousin ready to travel! Don't remember the rules, (wasn't in the first group)but ready to have a go, if anyone is interested?

i'm interested, but what are we doing? LOL!!! i think i missed something. i'm ready to travel too! where we goin?

I think the idea was to take photos of guppo where we live town/country and post them in the forum. then post him to the next person on the list to do the same, but he got lost in the post so Dandi is willing to take his place.

from what i can gather from past threads... he's mailed to a member where he visits for 72 hrs, put in all kinds of wacky photos & shared here in the forum, then sent to another member & so forth... is that right pat? JA? bsteph?

Yay!!! The Guppo Legacy Lives On!!!! The way it worked with the original, is that we IM'd our addresses to the originator (then Fred, in this case Pat) who then printed them as a list and put it in with the object. As Cyn said, you have 72 hours in which to introduce Dandi to some photography and then post it (him?her?) to the next person. Last time there was a few delays at a couple of stops and then the poor sod got lost on a European vacation. I think we should have to post a picture of Dandi with ourselves. That way we get to see what each other looks like which saves another thread on that. Oh, and a local landmark is good too. Should we set 3 challenges? Just to add a bit of fun ;-) (",)

The list of everyone who wants to participate in this is important, as Dandi's travels can be better coordinated! This way he visits those people in the same general location before movin' on to the next stop. Once a completed list (with addresses) is avaible to Pat, I think we are good to go! i hope the mail to Europe has improved... took 2 months for my small packages to get to several countries there... but then it was the holidaze... so i will IM you Pat with my addy :]

Last time someone sent me a package (books) from the US it took around 8 days. ps. I would be a willing participant :P

When Pat has the addresses she's gonna pass the towns/countries to me to create a world map again... this time I think we'll have a laugh charting his progress ;-) Like Sheila says, we still need to confirm the 3rd challenge (assuming we all agree to the other two?). Ideally we should have something to try for even if it's not necessarily possible - like get a pic of him with a local celebrity / footballer or anything like that? Get a photo of him with a member of the local constabulary? Or we could have a random list of colours in with him, and you have to take a pic of him alongside something predominantly (sp?) the next colour on the list? Come on, ideas people..... (",)

Y'know if we ship'em by DHL or UPS we really could track his progress! (Probably expensive though!) Or we can invest in a GPS (Guppo Positioning System)...ah nevermind! I like Jordys idead about some theme for the pics! How about each partipant adds something to the list for the next person! Mike, that's a cool idea about getting a shot of Dandy with a celeb, but i know that won't happen on my end. :( Also, i need some pertinent information here guys. What sex is Dandy????? Morning every one. Dandi is female and named for her hair. sorry I was off line most of last night. So far there are eight of us signed up for the fun. Tedz are you joining us? Dandi weighs 4ozs or about 120gms so shoulden't cost too much when packed for posting. Next question is when are we starting? soon as possible now I think, while we are all eager to go. Anyone still to join in let me have your address and we can get the show on the road, so to speak. Must have another cup of tea before anything else pat

Oh she is 10 inches tall and 3 inches wide approx if that helps will your photo plans.
