Here's the crusty tex:

Here's the "clean" red and white. You could also dirty this up a bit by applying the bump maps from the orange set.

And here's a shot of the guns and neural implants that are included.

Little_Dragon posted Mon, 21 February 2005 at 10:26 PM

Thanks for the preview image of the weapons and neural interface. The product page at DAZ doesn't include it, and I was curious.

ElorOnceDark posted Mon, 21 February 2005 at 10:31 PM

Yeah, I sent it to them separately because it was a sixth image, but I guess they forgot to add it in.

So much fun, so many aliens to shoot, so little time. Any plans for more textures? (he asked knowingly)

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Xena posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 12:07 AM

Doug, you HAVE to give this set a 'Sturkwurk' treatment :D

sturkwurk posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 12:28 AM Online Now!

nah, it'll never happen. I'm not worthy ;)

I'm so bloody clever *snicker* I love the Rave set btw :)

onimusha posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 5:53 AM

Be honest... someone played the old Cyberpunk and Shadowrun role playing games didn't they... ahhh... my wasted youth...

Shadowdancer posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 7:34 AM Online Now!

I did, still do occasionally. Nothing wrong with being a roleplayer.

onimusha posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 7:57 AM

Oh no, not at all... I'm actually kind of remiss that much of that "Cyberpunk" style isn't seen much any more. I really like that people like ElorOnceDark, Uzilite, and Sanctum Art are keeping it alive...

Shadowdancer posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 9:09 AM Online Now!

Me too.

ElorOnceDark posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 10:52 AM

Thanks you guys! Yes, I am a big fan of cyberpunk! I just wish I could make a proper cord to run from the gun to the headjack, and get it to pose correctly.

onimusha posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 11:33 AM

That would be AWESOME!!!!! Even one that needed alot of posing would be great... You could also do wrist jacks...

Aery_Soul posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 11:54 AM

Really great set Jeff, and we agree that the vibrant colours really make it stand out! Cheers, As Shanim & Siliphiel

ElorOnceDark posted Tue, 22 February 2005 at 12:35 PM

Yeah, the only trouble with a wrist jack is there is a lot of deformation there. I had originally intended on doing a shoulder jack with a cord to an arm computer, but I couldn't get it to work right. There's too much deformation in the shoulder area. Hey, I'm still learning! ;-)
