That is way cool. The wings are most impressive. Both the texture and the loose look of the web is right on. r.
Never Give Up!

Thank you all! The batwings give me more work, because theyre nothing more then big hands with skin between the fingers. The old problem came back: bones and hands. But, since the fingers are thin, the distortion is almost imperceptible. In fact, the real mess occurs on the wingskin this time. Im trying an animation, lets see what happens . ;-)

I cannot wait to see the animation. Excellent job so far!

Thanks, gavotte! The primary animation can be viewed HERE. In Flash, 539 K. I use the motion blur feature. :-)

Brilliant! Great animation! I really like the way it looks at breakfast at the end. Well done.

LOL! Youre right, falconperigot. I didnt note that. Thanks. Im almost understanding the IK principles in Carrara (since RDS Ive never be able to make this thing work). Its much easier now. Take a look at THIS NEW ANIMATION. I use the IK Chain and the multiple morphs. Its a childrens book character.

I like the griffon, and I also like your new little character. (though, I'm curious if when he's hungry... does he turn into a NASTY little creature? Kinda like a pirahna?) Keep up the ggod work! :D

Ha! Yes, he's a cute little sucker! ;-) Nice work with the blinking and the movement looks very natural. Good work. When you say 'children's book character', do you mean yours or someone else's?

Thanks, bluetone. And, dont worry, hes fruitivorous... ;-)
Its a old project, falconperigot. I wrote the story almost 6 years ago, but dont have time to ilustrate it (soooo lazy, in fact...). Now Im considering not only a book, but a animation and a toy line based in this character too. Who knows...? Dream is not a crime, am I right? ;-)

Sounds good. Good luck with it! As for dreams... well, last time I looked they were still all right! ;-)

I could definetly see this little guy as a toy character. And as a book. Keep us up to date as you go forward.
