I got a very neat Macro lens for my Digital Rebel and desiring to take an image and place it on Alpha Plane for a Vue Render. I will be including other objects in the foreground of the image for effect. I am wondering if that kind of image is still concider a Vue image or would be consider Mixed mediam or something..

I'd think as long as you stated that the alpha plane was in there it would be okay. Cool to see what all you can use and how it's used effectivly in Vue. But that's my opinion.

Yes you're using Vue to compose the finished image... R

Even if there will always be purists, we try to keep a broad view of what is a Vue image in the gallery. You are welcome to submit any picture you like (within the limits of the Term of Service of course) and I will let you know if your picture needs to be moved to another gallery.

I will try to add enough additional vue content to the scene to make a truely a vue picture. I get the lens thursday, so I don't know how long it will take before I learn to use correctly and finding the right subject. May have to wait to spring, most of the subjects are hibranating right now.. I probably want to wait till my copy of Vue 5 Infinite arives anyway.. it looks like a much better rendering engine that Vue 4 Pro and Vue 5 Esprit.
