As some of you may be aware, Poser doesn't care about pathnames in the character, prop, and pose files. If you have abc/shirt1.jpg and bcd/shirt1.jpg, Poser will load the first one it finds, ignoring the folder name. In the case of P5, Poser will load the first one it finds in the Runtime order (one in the P5 Runtime will load before one in the Downloads Runtime, etc.) I've also noticed that when I create a character or prop file in P5, the shader node section only has the texture filename (i.e., shirt1.jpg) with no folder names. Now why would it do this if it actually used the pathnames? Theoretically, you could just put the texture filename in the correct line in the MAT Pose file and not put :Runtime:Textures:foldername in front of it. So my question is, does anyone know if Poser 6 will use the pathnames to find textures or ignore them like P4, PP, and P5 do now?
