Hello. I have only just started learning Poser, and I have a question about the beginner's gallery. I have 2 images up in this gallery, how many render uploads can a "beginner" put in this gallery? I ask because when looking through this gallery, some comments have been left for others saying they shouldn't be uploading in this gallery.

hi there. well, since I dont know which comments you mean, the people which are commenting probably meant this as a compliment - that they are "to good" for posting their images in the "beginners gallery". I think, its left to themselves. I feel as a beginner and thats the reason why i am posting (if i post) in the beginners gallery. ;-)

I didnt post any pictures in the beginner
s gallery when I started posting pictures, but I had been using poser for a few years before I posted anything. If someone is telling you what you can or cannot do in this way and they are not a moderator then they can be ignored.

You can upload only one picture a day, but you can do that every day until you die if you feel able to. :) I have, on occasion, told members that they shouldn't be in the Beginner's Gallery, but as Maddy says it was meant to be a compliment. In theory, people should be kinder about your work in the BG, and more ready to offer constructive help.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I just wasn't sure where to post my first pictures, the beginners gallery seemed the obvious choice. And yes, I would take that as a compliment if people are saying I shouldn't be in the beginners gallery. I have so much to learn on Poser :-) I feel I have only just scratched the surface with it lol.

Good luck with your learning experience. It's fun, time consuming and sometimes frustrating. I didn't post in the beginner's gallery when I joined here, mainly because IIRC they didn't have one. :) That said, I didn't post anything for a few months, until I felt I had a handle on the Poser thing.
