My pose-folder is fully packed. I allready had to put several folders into a new one or merge folders of the same kind of pose. Still too big. Can I put e.g. Victoria Injections and Removes in one folder without causing problems or having to rename single poses? Any other tipps and hints?

DON'T put Vic's Inj and Rem in the same folder without first renaming one of the two. Both the Inj and Rem files have the same name, so one is going to overwrite the other. You should DL the free P3DO Explorer for fast renaming of files and/or extensions. SWAMP

I am using P3DO Explorer allready. There is no Poser-Life whithout this great tool! :-)

Good...you already have it. You can do something like put a "+" or something in front of all the Inj files with it, then you can combine the Inj and Rem into one folder. For me, I put all the Uni-mesh Inj/Rem and Mat files into the face library. All pose files went into the Camera library... And Mats for clothes, hair, and Vic2/PTGirl, are in the Pose library. Everything is neat and tidy and works with no problems. Course I'm not the typical Poser user as I don't have a huge runtime (2 gigs..60% of which is textures). Good luck organizing, SWAMP

Thanks, Swamp for the excellent suggestions. I have several runtimes, but your method looks quite good. Would you mind enter a bit into details? how you can bring these files into a face library for example. (different extensions, no?)

I have tried prudent planning long enough. From now I'll be mad. (Rumi)

I just load the person up with all the morphs and save it. for use later. I then move all the inject-etc, from Pose to folders outside of poser- under Vic3- Mike-3- etc. If I need them again they are easy to put back in.

Hey Aeneas, Yes to move the files to the face or camera library you must change the file extension (pz2 to fc2,etc.). The little utility that was mentioned above (P3DO Explorer) makes changing the extensions very fast and easy. You can find it here in freestuff. SWAMP

thanks a lot. I'll give it a try. I'm shure it will work!

Are you using your Edit>Preferances>Use Compression option. It will save your runtime files in alternate(Compressed) formats! = )
