The image is only a test shot. WB was set using white cardboard and incandescent lighting. Note the blue tint to the cats breast. After taking the pic and viewing it, I realized lots of daylight was coming in the windows. So, I screwed up and set the WB to incandescent, ingoring the total ambient light. How would you set White Balance for a shot indoors with some sun coming in the room? Sure, to set it at the place the image would be taken would be nice but not predictable with animals. I know I left the window light out of the balance..my mistake. Would backeting help? What would you do..set a WB and put the camera down, ready in case a decent image was there? I do need some advice. The new camera is super but the fine points are being overlooked... and that is me. Time to learn..time to learn not to rush it.
