Better late than never! ;) What could be more opposite than man-made and nature-made? I took this last week when I came across a hidden grove of these groovy flowers growing next to this power sub-station. More on these at a later date... "Ahhhhh!" Runs screaming from a suddenly unfriendly computer terminal I'm not sure what genus they are, no, but I'll try to find out. I believe they are are a type of succulent that used to grow as weeds in my appt. yard. They never flowered like this though. The flower stalk is truly amazing as it travel for many feet over the ground before curving upward to explode in red. This is one of many stalks, and I think they are from only a few plants, or maybe all the same one! ;) The aliens are among us! --Kort
