Thought it may be a good topic and discussion. How many take say, 100 shots or so...of a given subject only to end up with say, 1 or two REALLY outstanding shots..!!!!..but never really reveal one dud shot....lol In my opinion, this is mostly the case as I'm sure most will tell you..point me out if i'm wrong here..:) SO, I will post just one of my so called "failure shots"...hope you do to :) Look forward to your "failure shot" from each of you :) If only to show, we photographer's do NOT get it right everytime on a shoot :) Be dareful :)..be interesting...;) jimbO

LOL...a gallery we could fill...but hey, that's the fun of learning:) So lets see now: dirt on lens, dirt on sensor, exposure, panning, background........ :-D

Mmmmmm ok it is fair to say that I make a few booboo's

Not that many but one or two per location

Here are three classic and probably common mistakes.

OMG Michelle makes mistakes and JimbO misses an action shot, there is hope for me yet!

Enjoy he he!

Excellent topic Jim

This is a twofold one...I don't normally subject everyone to family photos unless they somehow move beyond the snapshot realm IMHO, AND these a flubs. I've found that babies move pretty fast! 8^] --Kort

I was searching - cos I tend to delete the evidence - lol You should always try to keep your fingers and thumbs off the lens when taking a photo. :).

We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'

hehe... got to have the classic "finger in the shot" think we've all done every one of these flub-ups :] enjoyable to see these & read the fun captions!

Nilla posted Tue, 01 March 2005 at 8:23 PM

This is a fun thread and I just thought I would share with you a few of my rejects. Note: These are from the new camera, and I have found that since using this camera my take now averages about 70%! 90% of my images with this cam are in focus, but not necessarily on the subject! LOL! When I shot with the E8700 my take averaged between 40% and 50%! Big improvement as far as keepable images.

Nilla posted Tue, 01 March 2005 at 8:27 PM

...And another! Yep I would say we are all affected by this syndrome! LOL!

UKmac posted Wed, 02 March 2005 at 12:21 AM

Great thread...... I usually delete the rubbish but found this one. First week after I got my present camera. A whole days shooting down the pan. I was about to take the camera back to the shop when I found that I knocked the focus switch into manual DUHhhh!! A whole days shoot out of focus . Plus where did that sewer manhole come from... Steve Edit : Typo whoops
