...Call it strange architecture if you want-- I do. I've been trying for a while now tyo get a rounded staircase out of the Poser stairs, by using Amorphium. But, there's something wrong with the normals or something in the Poser stairs, and I just discovered that making what I want is oh-so-easy with Rhino. :) So, I uploaded a couple of staircase models to the Vue Free Stuff, in .vob format, using the standard Vue 3 materials. Enjoy, if you'd like. :) Mike

Way to go Mike and thanks :) I really have to think of a good composition to use them. What did you have in mind when creating it? Looks like they are good for a stage performance kind of setup....like may be for a Michael Jackson "one night" only :) better still, he does his "moonwalk" and fell into the pool....LOL! Hmmmm...seriously, may be duplicate and stack them staircase up and use a camera view from the clouds and render it. Makes a need CD print for the Led Zepplin ablum "Stairway To Heaven" :) Bill Tesign ....still ahppy with that Lure from JW :) Okay..got to get busy now with the pic.

Thanks everyone--glad that you like them. :) Yeah Bill, that was exactly the idea--stages. The one with the little pool on top was just kind of an afterthought. I took a completely circular one I built and flipped it and did a boolean difference on it, then added water just for fun. Remember I asked a while back where I could find a Les paul guitar model and you sent me to 3D Cafe? Well, I've been working on this band scene for a little while now, and I was experimenting with different types of stages. BTW, the "water" can be removed from the one, as it's a separate part. Cheers, Mike PS Bill, that's an AMAZING picture of the tarpon. You are a very talented guy! Also, yeah, that's what it was--old rod. We were fishing for Red Drum, didn't even know there were any tarpon around. I managed to see several times at least before my rod snappped and then I cut the line. Those things really jump ALOT, man! it was kind of a shame I couldn't get it in, but it all happened so fast, I had very little time to react!

Yiles!....whatttt!?..you cut the line?...mannn!!..if I were you, I'll pull it in or jam the broken rod between my legs and cling myself to anything I can find, even the person next to me!...LOL! Like you said, it all happened too fast :( They got a Jimmy Hendrik character around but it cost...does he use that kind to play his blues?...or for the matter, has he ever use a Les Paul? Bill

Yeah, I HAD to cut the line becasue we were sitting in the middle of an enormous school of reds, and there were alot of flounder around too, apparently, because we got several of them. I knew I had no chance of getting the tarpon in, and here in Florida, where I was at, at that time of the year, it's actually illegal to even so much as hook one, let alone bring it in. Lotsa Marine Patrol guys around in the area too, because of the manatees, and the speed-boaters. Hendrix? Les Paul? You know, now that you mention it, I have never seen a picture of him with one. He was a Strat man all the way. Cheers, Mike
