Subject: I've officially....gone WEIRD!

I've been hangin' around this old access tunnel at lunchtime (too much it seems) This tunnel joins a path at the park & goes under a road/bridge. This place has some REAL potential! It's very eerie/creepy, even during the day...not many people comin thru! Textures all over the walls (check my gallery out for a couple!) I wanted to try and do some kind of ghost-like image and this is what I came up with (so far)! I used a low shutter-speed (1/25) to intentionally OVEREXPOSED and "blow out" the lighting on the far side of the tunnel entrance. I spot metered the walls to exaggerate this even more...mMade a great GLOW effect! I used my camera's remote shutter release and took a bunch of shots of (myself) in different areas of the tunnel. I then used about 10 layers in Pshop with various settings on each to get this! It's far from done...still messin' around! Just wanted to share my WIP and get some feedback from the crew. haha, Joe! I know what WIP means!!! :) but the way i said it, it made it sound like i didn't!!! oopsey! what i meant to say was, "why are you saying it's a WIP because it looks incredible just the way it is!" If it was me, i was call it finished! You must have some ideas!!! What do you want to work on still with this one? Are ya havin' some thoughts about adding some more layers?? luv that song!!! :)

Welcome to club wierd (weird)! I did some similar stuff with a flash at night on an old camera to get multiple exposures. Fun stuff and your image is looking good -- keep cookin!

Brother... sometimes I feel like I came out of a drainage pipe. My wife will kill me for telling this, but I actually proposed to her when sitting on one. It was an outflow pipe on the beach. Like u, I found a great texture site that was a heavily grafittied drain pipe under a railway line. I got some incredibly poignant images there. Just posted one in challenge. Weird? or Opportunistic? what matters is ____________________________________(fill in answer).
