Its just a morph trick. You can 'freak' V3,S3,D3,Luke and Laura with this inj morph. To decode the morph you need to have M3 and F3.
Many thanks to J. Hernandes, who had the idea and helped on development.

Looks cool .. Any way to get a non exe version? I am on a Mac and I would really like to have the David version.
Byrdie posted Thu, 03 March 2005 at 11:19 AM
Way cool! But can you clarify, please? The read-me says for personal use only, does that apply to just the program/morphs or are renders included too? Also, in Mike/David's case, does the morph apply to what's underneath the, erm, produce?

It's amusing. Although someone will need to make JP poses to actually use some of them as the JPs the characters currently have can't handle the Freakish proportions. As for clothing, like many extreme morph situations, either dynamic or bodytexture clothing is likely the only solution. Although I suppose one might be able to use the Tailor to make outfits match the morph. (I'll note that I put a negative value on the Multi-freak morph in the head, when I use it, to bring the head back to a more reasonable appearance.)

Elastic.
Of course, the lower legs of the pants will tear away -- but the upper part of the pants will remain firmly in place. Expanding from a 32" waist to a 75" waist isn't a problem at all.
Question is -- how does the belt stay on? The belt must be made of elastic, too.

I hate to have Bruce Banner's clothes budget.
mmogul posted Thu, 03 March 2005 at 1:52 PM
Replying :
estherau: Dynamic Cloths would be the solution.
Ghostofmacbeth: i don't have a mac, in truth, i never saw a modern mac in action. it's very rare here. I think that there is an app named Virtual PC
that can emulate PC on Mac (???)
Byrdie: Well, you are free to render and publish your art. The morph will not work on M3 or F3.
Berserga :He needs a navy cap too.
i will travel now, but i will back tomorrow.

Speaking of miraculously-versatile purple pants, How come when the hulk changed back to Bruce Banner in San Francisco, his pants still fit despite him being only a fraction of the size he was before? I mean besides the fact that it would have been unacceptable to have Bruce Banner naked in the middle of the city...

In places such as downtown New York, the average passerby probably wouldn't give him a second look. Things like that happen all of the time in those parts.
Even if he was painted green, it most likely wouldn't matter.
Speaking of superheros.........
If one is bitten by a radioactive spider, and aquires amazing super powers by this means.....
.......tell me, from what part of a spider's anatomy does the spider shoot webs.......?
Answer: not from the wrists.

XENOPHONZ posted Thu, 03 March 2005 at 3:41 PM
Here's another aspect to consider: If a woman was ever bitten by a radioactive spider, then the woman would end up being 10X larger than her male counterpart. On top of which....Spiderman would need to hide himself....because Spiderwoman would be trying to eat him all of the time.

A woman (like Lois Lane) that's deeply in love with a man would never recognize him if he put on a pair of glasses. Everybody knows that.

In one of the Superman comic books, Superman admitted to Lois Lane that he too wonders why nobody has ever seen thru his flimsy disguise, and Lois explained that the reason is that it never occurs to most people that Superman even has a secret identity. Most people assume that he's Superman 24/7 ands that he lives in the Fortress of Solitude... Oh, as a coordinator I have a responsibility to keep this "Poser related", so I should mention that Daz has a pair of Hulk pants for the freak, and Poser versions of all the characters mentioned in this thread are available at Animotions... :)

He's got a circle of friends with other superheros. People like him -- that can protect themselves from the bad guys.
Besides, isn't he placing his "normal" friends at risk anyway? By the simple fact that his secret identity might be uncovered by the wrong person?
Ah, well.....these are truly burning questions. Very Important Issues. Worthy of serious debate.

Yes.....hiding a major fact about oneself from one's friends isn't a very friendly thing to do. It must be very difficult to be married to a CIA agent.
Byrdie posted Thu, 03 March 2005 at 6:35 PM
Not only that, but most everybody in my Smallville fan groups agree it's the main reason for Canon!Lex dumping Canon!Clark -- when your supposed best friend won't even trust you enough to explain he's got a secret and he's afraid he'll endanger you by telling the truth, well that sez it all about the relationship, now don't it? Of course we all know that never happened to fanon!Lex & Clark. Especially those of us living in CLex-land. ;-)

I just tried to use the MultiFreek program and got an error message that my Freek obj file was incorrect. I redownloaded and reinstalled the Freek and I still get the same message. The file name is ps_pe040_FREAK.exe. Is this the right file or do I have the wrong file name. Thanks for any help on this problem.
mmogul posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 7:32 PM
Ghost : To distribute this inj morph i used almost the same method of RTE Encoder, but the app uses a double difference system, because the morph is based on M3 and F3. It also extracts the diference of 2 files at same time, the INJ and the REM file.
Tell me, do RTE Encoder works on MAC ? If it works i can encode the files and... revric : ops, you need the file named blFREAK.obj, in your runtime/Geometries/DazPeople folder.

There is a java based clone of RTEncoder. See the thread for details.revric posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 8:59 PM
To mmoqul: No DUH. After installing Freak in my Runtime folder, the blFREAK.obj is in the DazPeople folder. That is the name of the file that I tried to use and I still get an error message. Is there a certain version that it works with, because I have the newest version available.
BastBlack posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 9:25 PM
mmogul, DOH! slapping forehead Save to the Pose folder in the Runtime. blush Okay, I got decoded. Thanks, babe! =) By the way, compairing Objtraction mover to RTE decoder, I've had troubles with both of them on my Mac inside Virtual PC. Mmogul's decoder was pretty easy to work one I understood where to save to. blush Obtraction mover and RTEncoder both work on OBJ format, but Mmogul's works on Injection, right? Injection translation seems to work better on the Mac. There was no double decoding with of 2 seed files. I've only had the double decode work correctly once. All other times it either failed or had errors in the obj. bB
BastBlack posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 9:31 PM
p.s. There is a RTEncoder for the Mac that's based on JAVA. Personally, I haven't been able to get JAVA anything to run correctly on my MAc but that's because I use OS9. All Mac users who have OSX have a java runtime already installed in their operating system, so it should work for them no problems. =) bB
Ghostofmacbeth posted Fri, 04 March 2005 at 11:16 PM
I used the java version before with no problem under 9 but yep .. The java version runs the rte things fine I think.
mmogul posted Sat, 05 March 2005 at 6:13 AM
Ghost: I will try RTEJava now, but im afraid that the Win OBJs files are differents of the Mac files ( the old 'linefeeds' odd ) and i need to contact JHernandez. But i will try and post it.
**nruddock:**I thank you for the link.
**revric:**So, I guess DAZ changed the OBJ file. Its a mess. Could verify the date and size of the file and post here ?
mmogul posted Sat, 05 March 2005 at 7:15 AM
Attached Link: http://paginas.terra.com.br/informatica/mmogul/MultiFreak_REM_final.zip
I built a rte file with RTEJava. Its only the small REM file, to test the possibility of a good translation. It is a double difference file, so :
1- Decode it using blFREAK.obj;
2 - Decode the resulting file (MultiFreak_REM_previous.rte)using blMilman_m3.obj.
Now open it in a good text editor. If the text looks normal, good, i can post a MultiFreak version to be used on RTEJava.

There was only one release of the Freak obj as far as I know, but many, many updates to M3. Check the latest version of your M3. It should be: blMilMan_m3.obj 14,785,610 bytes Created Wed, Oct 1, 2003, 4:27 PM Modified Fri, Jan 7, 2005, 12:13 AM Or you can just download the free M3 to make sure you're current. bB
revric posted Sun, 06 March 2005 at 3:18 AM
It is not the M3 file that is giving the error. It is when I point to the Freak file that I get an error. It is beyond me as to why only I seemed to have this problem.
revric posted Sun, 06 March 2005 at 4:06 AM
I just tried to open the file on a second computer with poser and I still get the error message; "Wrong FREAK geomirty. Fail". If there was only one Freak file that came out, how can it fail on that one? I do have the newest M3 file. I downloaded it after DAZ made it a freebe. Does this help or am I stilled screwed. I was hoping to use this on Luke and Laura for a render that I have in mind. As I am sure you know that if you don't jump on the muse when it hits, you have trouble getting back in the groove later.

happy dance Oooooo, I can't wait! =) And I think I read on the forum you have an update for UMT? What's the scoop? What will be new? And speaking of UMT... There only one other thing I can think of that would be cool a cool addition to UMT (that you may or may not have thought of) and that's if there is a way to have UMT add new morph channel to the cr2 file, by name, instead of using the generic blank ones CC01 or DC01. I've had a new morphs know each other out when injecting. And I bet people who create custom morphs would love to have a neat program that would create a cr2 with custom channels for their original morphs. Could be handy thing to have for character developers. Not to mention, they could offer their character in more than one figure format. I want to try to transfer some of my M3 characters faces to Freak, David, Luke, and Matt, but I'm not sure how just yet. ;p Anyhoo, just a thought. =) bB
