I think it could be many things. From smoking illegals to personal feelings. Whatever it is very very well shot. DOF is stunnning

absence but in the mastery of his passions."

Well I for one think you should enter it. Not sure what he's smoking or getting ready to, but my first thought was a little mother weed going on there. :) This IS a social issue. Nice work on using and developing the film and getting the scene setup.

The original scene was horizontal, but all the action was happening on the left so I felt the most impact was achieved by cropping the rest out. Thanks for the feedback, I'll repost the fullsize and thumb later.

Nice one - I especially like the way the rear person is blurred but still clear enough to see that's it's a dissaproving look. (",)

Disapproving look?? It seems to me that the guy at the back is waiting for the spliff to be ready on a contrary!! Hehe!! I love that shot!! It's so atmospheric and it reminds me great moments! Yep! ;) Now does it fit the challenge or not, I couldn't say since, to me, having a spliff as never been a problem and I don't see it as a social issue! My 2c! ;)
